About Our Puncture Repair Procedure

While performing puncture repairs, we follow a standard procedure. First, our technicians unmount the affected vehicle wheel and remove the tyre. Next, they assess the overall tyre condition along with the punctured area. If we find any objects stuck, we remove them carefully.

At this stage, our mechanics use a pre-buff cleaner and scraper to clean the surrounding area of the affected section. We then continue:

  • A repair patch is held in place and a buffing rasp is used to buff the inner liner
  • Then a tyre expert uses a vulcanising accelerator to easily plug in the tyre patch
  • Next, the patch is partially pulled out and the patch stem is pulled out and cut
  • The tyre is tested to ensure the repair was successful
  • After that, the tyre is fitted back onto the wheel rim installing and back.
  • More likely, the wheel will be balanced before being re-installed on the car.
  • The tyre is inflated with the correct air pressure
  • You are ready to go!
